Save the Planes! Airshow Week Fundraiser

Have you stopped to check out the two planes on display at Brunswick Landing? The P2V Neptune and the P3 Orion were left by the Navy when Brunswick Naval Air Station was closed – and since then, they’ve started to show some wear.

To ensure they stick around for years to come, some basic maintenance needs to be done to keep them weather proof and lookin’ sharp – so what better way to do that than with the help of the performers of the Great State of Maine Airshow?!

The Blue Angels, civilian pilots, and accompanying flight crews have lots of preparations to do in the afternoon for the Airshow performances on Saturday and Sunday – they have all been invited to attend this fundraiser co-hosted by Flight Deck Brewing and Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority. We hope you’ll join us, too!

Tax-deductible donations will be accepted at the bar, with checks made out to Midcoast Charitable Foundation (a 501c3, wholly owned by MRRA). All donations will go towards maintenance and improvements of the P2V Neptune and P3 Orion.

FOOD will be available for purchase - details to be announced.
